About me ….
Hi let me tell you about me. My name is Dianne Jamieson and I am an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator based in Kirkcaldy, Fife which is on the east coast of Scotland by the Firth of Forth River. I have been crafting for a number of years, first learning to knit by the knee of my grandmother. Over the years I have enjoyed crafting whether it be knitting, sewing, jewellery making or paper crafts. I love to see the joy on someone’s face when they receive a handmade gift or card. I am passionate about crafting and the benefits it brings to my mental health. My crafting corner is my go to place when I need to bring some focus back into my life.
Being a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator
Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is only part of what I do. I have a full time job with the emergency services working a 10 week rotating shift pattern. I am a workplace menopause ambassador, an unpaid career for my octogenarian parents, a great aunt (a fantastic aunt actually, even if I do say so myself (hehe)). Open water swimming has also been a revelation in my life, it is great for my all over well-being. I love to read and am an avid reader of romantic fiction, amateur gardener and a little bit OCD about some things (OK, maybe more than a little bit).

Why Stampin’ Up!
I found Stampin’ Up! in August 2020 when a friend invited me to an online craft class. This introduced me to the vast array of products that I could use. The biggest appeal to me was that stamps, inks, pens, card stock and embellishments all co-ordinated and could all be purchased from one place. Add to that the quality and variety and I was hooked.
By September of the same year I joined Stampin’ Up! as an Independent Demonstrator, initially as a hobby and build my craft stash. By January 2021 I decided to turn my hobby into a business and have recently celebrated my first Stampaversary. This past year has allowed me to meet a fantastic group of people who are like mined crafters, they are a great source of inspiration and support and we are all here for each other.
Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is so rewarding. Not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone put together that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people you love.
