Global Monthly Video Hop – November

This month’s video hop theme is home decor. I opted to make 3D paper stars using Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper from the July-December mini catalogue.

I am a little YouTube Studio and video recording challenged at the moment but I am working on this and hope to have issues ironed out for next month.

EDEN’S GARDEN COLLECTION

Following the launch yesterday of Eden’s Garden collection I wanted to show you a few projects I have created. This suite of products is very versatile and can be used for all different occasions.

  • Eden’s Garden Card Idea

Using Basic White card, vellum, Ever Eden DSP, Soft Succulent card and ink along with Eden’s Garden stamp and dies I created this 4”x5 1/2” card. I finished it off with Garden Gems and a little bit of gold shimmer ribbon.

Here are a couple of other cards I made too.

And finally I created this 5”x5”x1 3/4” gift box with co-originating gift tag. Gift boxes are so simple to make, once you know how, and a great way to give that personal touch to your gift. Making your own co-ordinating gift tag or bow can compliment your gift.

Hello …

I would like to say hello and thank you for visiting my site. As you can see this is my first blog, a little nervous to put myself out there into the big wide world so here we go!!!

Over the coming weeks and months I will be building this site and sharing with you my craft projects and introducing you to the many fabulous Stampin’ Up! products. But in the meantime let me show you a few of the cards that I have made recently in a colour challenge.

Using only 3 colours, Cinnamon Cider, Cherry Cobbler and Gray Granite we had to design a card/project and share with each other. Not as easy as you would first think. Using a sheet of Basic White and used Delicate Dahlias stamp set to create the background in black ink. I choose to use Stampin’ Blends to colour each of the flowers because the allow you to build up colour and add shade to bring out definition. This one sheet of A4 card was more than enough to create these three cards. I do hope you like them.
